Wash your brushes at least once a week in warm water using shampoo or brush soap. Start by rinsing the tops of your brushes under lukewarm water to remove any leftover makeup. Be sure to keep the water away from the metal part (ferrule).
Use lukewarm water and add a bit of makeup soap or shampoo. Gently swirl the brush tips in the water, being careful not to submerge the ferrule. Massage the bristles to create a lather. Rinse the tips under running water to wash away any soap. Make sure the water runs clear.
Use a clean paper towel to gently squeeze out excess moisture. Lay your brushes flat to dry with the tips hanging off the edge of a counter. Avoid drying them upright, as this can cause water to seep into the ferrule and damage your brushes.
Remember: Always keep the ferrule dry and avoid placing your brushes directly under the tap or fully submerging them in water. With proper care, your brushes will stay in great shape for a long time!
